About 4,500 residents from the city of Gongju, South Chungcheong, protest against the administration¡¯s decision to overhaul the Sejong City plan at the riverside park of the Geum River. They met on the eve of President Lee Myung-bak¡¯s planned TV appearance to persuade the nation about the need to revise plans for Sejong City. President Lee will make a TV appearance tonight at 10 p.m. to address the controversy. The Blue House said the 100-minute program will include Lee¡¯s two-minute address, a Q. and A. and a closing speech. It will be aired live by MBC, KBS and SBS. [YONHAP]
