Rice cake record

Officials from Seoul city government and Shinsung College after successfully completing a 4,340-kilogram (9,568-pound) rice cake yesterday during the Seoul Design Olympiad at the Jamsil Main Stadium in eastern Seoul. The cake will be registered as the world’s biggest rice cake in the Guinness Book of Records, they said. [YONHAP]
